Dr. Molly Bordelon-Stanford

Dr Molly StanfordDr. Molly Bordelon-Stanford was born and raised in Lafayette, LA. She graduated from St. Thomas More High School and then received her Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences with honors at Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge. In 2010, she made the move to New Orleans to attend dental school at LSU School of Dentistry.  Although Dr. Stanford made the decision to become a dentist when she was in middle school, this is where her passion for the profession began to take root. After getting married to her husband Justin B. Stanford, D.D.S., M.D. in 2014 and graduating from dental school that same year, they made the big move to Gator Country in Gainesville, Florida for her husband’s six-year residency in oral surgery. During this time Dr. Stanford worked as an associate and then quickly advanced to a managing clinical director in Ocala, Florida. She will always cherish the experience she gained during this time both in the office and in the classroom through many hours of continuing education at the University of Florida.  She is also an active member of the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD), American Dental Association (ADA), Louisiana Dental Association (LDA), and the Acadiana District Dental Association.

Dr. Stanford’s commitment to the dental profession stems from her drive to make her patient’s feel as comfortable as possible while receiving excellent care. Her love of a variety of procedures including dental surgery, crowns, bridges, implant restorations, and removable prostheses, help her patients receive exceptional and comprehensive treatment. One of the most important aspects that she has learned thus far in her career is the importance of teamwork in the dental field.  She takes pride in her dedication to teamwork and enjoys leading her office and patients towards a healthy smile.

One of the proudest moments of Dr. Stanford and her husband’s lives is getting to raise their precious son Camden and miniature dachshund Cooper. Family has been such a huge part of her life and has played a pivotal role in her decision to return to Acadiana. In her free time, Dr. Stanford loves spending time on the lake at False River with family and friends as well as traveling, cheering on the Cajuns and Tigers during football season, and enjoying delicious Cajun food.  Getting the opportunity to move back to her roots in Lafayette and serve the community means the world to both Dr. Stanford and her family.  She can’t wait to start meeting her new Louisiana patients!
